nature does a body and mind good

There are so many benefits to spending time outdoors, especially if you are experiencing stress, depression, or anxiety. Or you may be one struggling with forgetfulness, confusion and uncertainty. In any case, getting yourself outside and moving is a great way to recalibrate. Studies even “point in one direction: Nature is not only nice to have, but it’s a have-to-have for physical health and cognitive function.” Feel the sun kiss your face. Notice the clouds drifting by you. Stand barefoot on the grass or dip your feet in a stream, river, or ocean. Breathe in the air. Let it fill you. Experience nature from head to toes. Let it calm and relax you.

NOTE: You may also require additional support from other health care professionals. Use wisdom and seek help when you need that. But also tune in, if possible, to what you sense and feel you need organically. At minimum, nature may help you clear your mind so you can take your next best step.

Some ways that nature helps us: Nature contributes to reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones.
