What is Yoga Nidra

Simply...it is a technique that allows individuals to move from the thinking mind into feeling and being. 

This is done in a comfortable lying down position where one is guided through the biological process of sleep, consciously dropping a person into deeper brainwave states, various levels of consciousness, allowing the body to effortlessly relax and let go. Individuals encounter deeper levels of stillness and silence, giving the body a chance to find rest and experience a sense of peace. One is also able to create distance from those endless thoughts, reduce mental stress, minimizing reaction and engagement through the setting of an intention within the practice...an additional component in a Nidra session.  

In a world where stress seems to be the norm, people are struggling with sleep deprivation, and the connection between perception and reality is a bit skewed, Nidra is a tool and viable option to help one find relief, respite, a chance to recover and reconnect.
